Wild Places By Richard Green
|
![]() |
Richard Green visits the most remote parts of Australia to capture the country’s majestic, untouched beauty unlike any photographer before. To access these out of the way places he flies from Sydney in his own twin turbine Arrius equipped EC 135 helicopter. He uses state of the art digital photographic equipment to produce his huge images - some over 4 metres long. They show the stark splendour of these outback and wilderness areas which have rarely, if ever, been photographed before.
Richard’s primary motivation in staging this show is to increase public awareness of the inherent beauty of these places that most of us never have the opportunity to see. He hopes that the show will engender a greater respect for our natural environment and an appreciation of the importance of protecting it. In keeping with this he has pledged to donate 50% of his net revenue from this show to relevant environmental charities.
